The Dead Forest. Chapter 1

                Once upon a time, there was a farmer named Jung. Every day he planted rice and collected wood to warm his body and his wife body. Jung lived happily in the village with his wife. His wife name was Sarah. After two years married, his wife got pregnant. Jung could not be happier. He worked harder for supporting his family from that day. Not so long after, their baby was born. They were so grateful to have a baby boy and they named him Johnny. When Johnny grew up he became handsome and also smart. He liked to help his father to go hunting or collected woods. Everyone loved him.

            One day, Jung went to the forest alone to go hunting. He spotted a bear and shot it. The bear was dead and Jung took it home for dinner. Sun started to go down and the forest became silent. The forest was dark and Jung went too far for hunting. Jung was lost. He could not find a way to his village. It became darker and Jung was exhausted but he did not want to die there so he walked again. After a while he found a hut. He wanted to ask a permission to stay there for a night and came back to the village the day after so he knocked the door. “Hello, anyone is there? Excuse me. Please help me.”   He said. And suddenly the door opened by itself. Felling confused and little scary Jung entered the hut. The hut looked so old yet neat. Inside the hut, Jung found an old woman sitting in the single sofa. The old woman was wearing a black dress and black hat. Wrinkles were all around her face and she had an unusual pointed nose. Suddenly a voice broke Jung’s thought. The old woman said “Hello, young man. It has been years since I had a visit. My name is Abra and I have lived here for seventy years.” 

Journal 3

Hello, I am back again. The good news is I have already passed the exam week and the result is not that bad. This time I write another Journal. I hope you are not bored to read it.

I wrote about Cultural event that my campus held in my last post. Well of course it improved my ability to writing a recount. Last time I learned about recount and the task is we should retell the event in time order.

My friends gave a comment about my writing and corrected some of my mistake like the spelling and so on. I think I have not written a good writing so far and I want to improve that.

After I wrote about recount, the lecturer taught us about narrative. We made our own fairytale story and we made it as a draft. We should write the theme, plot , characters and so on before we made the story. At first I was confused so I did not make it and after that I asked the lecturer again and I made it yesterday. I had something in mind yesterday and I wrote the opening of the story. It was first to me to write a story for kids like narrative but I think it is challenging and I enjoy it.

I think that is all that I want to share with you guys. I should do my other assignments. Thank you for reading my post.

International Culture Festival and Celebration at Widya Mandala University

                Hi, it has been a while. This time I will share my experience from last week. My University made a huge event last Friday and it was really good. Can you guess what event is that? It was an event that let the students knew about other country language and background. Not only college students, high school students were also invited. The Auditorium of our university is full of people and there was a reporter from local television also.

                The event opened with a traditional dance from Indonesia and after that there was a speech from our rector, the head of faculty, and chief executive. After the beautiful speech, the event went to the first presentation from China. The representative from China showed and wanted to teach us how to make a calligraphy. The Calligraphy was so lovely. The next presentation was from France. The representative told us about her experience in there and taught us some of French. It was really interesting because it was new for us.

                There was eight presentation in total. The most interesting presentation was from Spain. The representative from Spain contacted two person who could dance salsa. The teacher showed us some salsa move and told us to follow her. Some of us came to the stage and dance there and the other half were enjoy the dance. We danced two songs and everyone were really happy that time. Some of the lecturers danced really well in the stage and some of them looked confused, but it is okay. Practice makes better right? Yeah there is another performance. It were my friends who danced. They danced traditional dance. Let me share the picture.

                That was the event. Although it took a lot of time but it was gun. We played a lot of games during presentation and everyone were excited to get the gift. I think this kind of event should we do again next year. It will give us knowledge and we can know a lot of people too. Okay I think that is all I want to share with you guys. Flying Elephant

A new kind of zodiac is flying elephant. The elephant fly by flapping its ears. The elephant does not have wings. People who have this zodiac, usually really confident and proud of himself because it is impossible to find an elephant who can fly by using his ears. That is why he is so proud of himself. Other attitude he has is wise and leadership. The oldest female of elephant is the wisest. She usually lead the group of female elephant .Smart is also one of his personality. Elephant is known to be a clever animal. Although they eat herb they can be as strong as carnivore animal. Elephant is strong enough to protect their baby from hunter like lion and tiger. So, people who have this zodiac usually have a strong personality. They are not afraid with another people and hardly convince to do something he does not want to. Even though a flying elephant have many good personality, it has bad personality too. People who has this kind of zodiac is easily get angry. They have bad temper and sometimes people around them is annoyed by that. Another thing is they hardly understand what other people say. They must have several second to think what other say to them and after that they will respond. After all the flying elephant like to socialise with people. They do not like being alone so, never leave them alone if you do not want them to be sad.
